About the job

The selected candidate will represent the owner throughout the life cycle of the project, and supervise the consultants, contractors, and other parties involved to ensure that the projects are implemented in accordance with the owner's objectives, the approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Your responsibilities

  • The owner's representation throughout the project lifecycle, from the planning phase to completion and delivery.
  • Managing consultants, contractors, and parties involved in the project and following up on their work.
  • Reviewing, monitoring and following up on time schedules, budgets, implementation plans and other related matters.
  • Monitor the progress of the project in terms of quality, cost, and compliance with the approved specifications.
  • Review of contractors’ extracts, additional work, and change orders.
  • Identifying the risks of the project and proposing appropriate measures to minimize and address them.
  • Coordination between all relevant parties and solving technical and operational issues.
  • Monitoring compliance with approved contracts, plans, specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Reviewing work progress reports and technical reports.
  • Supervise the inspection work, record observations, tests, pilot operation, and final delivery.
  • Preparing periodic reports on the project status and submitting them to senior management.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in the real estate development or contracting sector.
  • Proven experience working as a representative of the owner or managing projects on behalf of the owner.
  • Strong experience in managing consultants, contractors, and project contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, schedule, quality, and risk in projects.
  • Excellent skills in leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs and project management software.
  • It is preferable to obtain a PMP certificate.
